BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Cardinals face Detroit Douglas Wednesday afternoon as part of the Chuck Turner Holiday Classic at Battle Creek Central’s Fieldhouse. The Cardinals will bring a 2-1 record into the contest.

In other holiday tournament boys basketball action, Jonesville will face Hillsdale Academy and Hillsdale will take on Reading as part of the Pat Patterson Rotary Holiday Classic which is being hosted this year by Jonesville.
Tekonsha will face Barry County Christian in a holiday tournament being hosted by Harper Creek.

In the girls basketball portion of the Pat Patterson Rotary Holiday Classic, Hillsdale will face Jonesville while Reading will take on Camden-Frontier.

In other action for Coldwater High School teams Wednesday, the freshman girls basketball team will face Plainwell in a tournament at Comstock while the junior varsity wrestling team will be taking part in the Brooklyn Columbia Central Invitational.
