COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A public hearing has been scheduled for Wednesday night’s Coldwater City Planning Commission meeting on an addition to city zoning ordinances that would allow special use permits for multi-family dwellings within the Central Business District.
The matter has been discussed for several months.
Under terms of the amendment, the dwelling has to have a minimum height of at least two stories.
The building would also have to front the primary street to which the building’s address is assigned and there would also have to be a public entrance.
In addition, each dwelling unit would also have to have at least one off-street parking space.
The ordinance would take effect 21 days after its adoption and publication.
