UNDATED (WTVB) – After the record low temperatures of Wednesday and Thursday morning in Coldwater, the National Weather Service says another blast of cold arctic air moving in over the New Year’s holiday weekend will keep us shivering for the next week.
Combined with clearing skies and the new snow cover, air temperatures are expected to drop to below zero on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
Forecasters say the low temperatures and wind will produce dangerously cold wind chills of between 10 and 15 degrees below zero on Monday and Tuesday morning.
The proper precautions and preparations should be made now to protect against the cold.
