LANSING MI (WTVB) – 58th District State Representative Eric Leutheuser of Hillsdale has announced he is changing committees.
House Speaker Tom Leonard says Leutheuser has been appointed to the Michigan House Tax Policy Committee after serving since 2015 on the Regulatory Reform Committee.
The Tax Policy Committee has 13 members and is chaired by State Representative Jim Tedder.
Leutheuser says of his new assignment, “the opportunity to serve on the Tax Policy Committee presents an ideal chance to influence our tax code, which I view as equally important.”
He added serving on the Regulatory Reform Committee for the past three years has been “valuable and enlightening”.
Leutheuser’s 58th District covers Branch and Hillsdale counties.
