UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – While most of the high school basketball games in the area were snowed out Friday night, Union City made up their games Saturday afternoon. In the boys action, Concord topped the Chargers 63-62.
The Chargers are now 2-5 overall and 0-4 in the Big 8. Larson Kever led Union City with 24 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and two steals. Blade Gordon added 19 points while Hayden Kreger had 11 points, nine rebounds and two assists.

In the girls action, Concord beat Union City 66-54.
Autumn Carpenter led the Chargers with 16 points and two steals. Dani Cross had 11 points and three assists while Paige Kline and Allison Adams both scored 10 points. Hope Austin and Kline both grabbed seven rebounds while Adams had six rebounds.
