KALAMAZOO, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater High School boys varsity swim team finished 7th at the Kalamazoo Loy Norrix Challenge Saturday. It was a prelim/finals invite where swimmers compete in the morning to get seeded in the afternoon. All swimmers that qualified for the finals bettered there position from the morning.
Carter Moore broke the team’s 100 backstroke record finishing 8th and also finished 5th in the 100 Butterfly. Josh Rowlson finished 10th in the 100 freestyle. The relay team of Carter Moore, Josh Rowlson, Lucas Santure and Jacob Taylor broke the 200 freestyle relay record, finishing 7th.
The Cardinal boys swim again Tuesday at Sturgis High School at 6:00 p.m.
