FLOWERFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Deputies are looking for a hit and run driver following an incident last weekend.
They say the incident happened in Flowerfield Township at about 5:25pm last Saturday near Flatbush and Floating Bridge Roads.
A 16-year-old was behind the wheel of a Chevy headed south bound on Flatbush Road when a black passenger car, that was headed northbound, crossed the centerline, struck the Chevy and forced it off the road.
The suspect vehicle drove off and headed north. It was described as possibly a 2000 Nissan Altima that should have damage to the right front area. It also has black tinted windows and the driver was described as a white woman in her 20’s.
The news release did not mention any injuries.
