UNDATED (WTVB) – After last Friday’s snow day, Big Eight Conference schools have rescheduled their Hat Day fund raising event for Bronson High School Athletic Director and girls volleyball coach Jean LeClair.
It will be held on Thursday at Union City High School and on Friday at both Bronson and Quincy High Schools. Each student in the eight conference schools will pay $1 to wear a hat in school for the day. The proceeds will go to LeClair, who has been in the hospital fighting cancer since December 7, 2017.
LeClair has been diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukemia. It is an aggressive form of leukemia but treatable. This is her second bout with cancer in the last 4 years.
