The Branch County Board of Commissioners voted during their Thursday work session to bring forward a request to fill the open Friend of the Court Enforcement Officer position to next Tuesday’s regular meeting.
Lona Julien from the FOC said they are looking to promote receptionist Tammy Holbrook to fill the position as of January 29th.
Julien also said Holbrook has knowledge about a complex statewide computer program as well as the court processes and procedures.
Holbrook was hired in 2009. Julien is also looking to fill the secretary positon that Holbrook is vacating. But she plans to hold off on posting the position to make sure Holbrook is comfortable with her new duties.
Formal action scheduled for Tuesday would allow her to fill the secretary position at her own discretion.
