LAGRANGE COUNTY, IN (WTVB) – Two Hillsdale County men were arrested Tuesday afternoon on drug charges after the Indiana State Police say they found 75 bottles of suspected marijuana wax and 10 grams of suspected marijuana during a traffic stop on the Indiana Toll Road in LaGrange County.
Troopers say the investigation started after the suspect’s vehicle was pulled over for a moving violation about nine miles west of the Howe/LaGrange exit.
A trooper became suspicious while talking with the driver, 28-year-old Jon Limbacher of Montgomery. A K-9 was used to help find the drugs.
Each of the bottles was about one gram. Besides the suspected marijuana, troopers found paraphernalia and almost $10,000 in United States currency in the vehicle.
Limbacher and his passenger, 30-year-old Kyle Jelenc of Hillsdale, were both arrested and faced preliminary charges of Dealing Marijuana, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia.
