COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Both of the Coldwater High School bowling teams defeated Jackson Lumen Christi in a home meet at Midway Lanes Tuesday.
The Coldwater boys varsity won the two regular games 1780-1201. They won the baker games also for a 30-0 victory. High scorers for Coldwater were Brandon Rifenburgh with a 253 for a 432 series, Alec Keplinger had a 225 for a 400 series, Dayten Yearling had a 217 for a 370 series and Kai Kinsey had a 187 and 175 for a 362 series.
The Coldwater varsity girls also won their match. They won the two regular games 1558-1139. They went on to win both bakers 323-228, winning the match 30-0. High scorers for Coldwater were Noella Keplinger 218 for a 366 series, Alysia VanWormer 179, Allison Caswell a 159.
Lumen Christi does not have JV bowling squads so the Coldwater JV girls bowled unopposed. They bowled a 1271 series and a 286 Baker Series. High scorers were, Hannah Furney 178, Breanna Hamm 154, Cassie Pokorny 148 and Jillian Combs 135.
Both of the Coldwater varsity teams are now 4-0 and will travel to Marshall on Thursday night and Pennfield on Friday.
