COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Both of the Coldwater High School varsity bowling teams lost to Pennfield Friday at Midway Lanes. The Coldwater boys lost to Pennfield 24-6. The Cardinals were beaten in the regular games by just one pin, 1,901-1,900. Pennfield also won the baker games 205-199 and 226-211. Alec Keplinger had games of 239 and 197 for a 436 series. Kaleb Champion had games of 220 and 202 for a 422 series.
The Coldwater girls lost to Pennfield 21-9. Pennfield won the regular games 1,729-1,547. The Panthers took the first baker game 179-173. Coldwater won the second baker game 176-168. Alysia VanWormer had games of 190 and 161 for a 351 series. Allison Caswell had a 195, Noella Keplinger shot a 192 and Tiffanie Corwin rolled a 189.
