COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – In girls middle school basketball, the Coldwater Legg Middle School teams took three out of four games against Pennfield Monday night.
8th Grade A— Legg 46, Pennfield 17 Jayla Foster had 12 points while Allison Miller had 11 points and Mallory Wilber added 10 points as the A team improved to 5-2.
8th Grade B— Legg 39, Pennfield 21 Tasha Pike had 12 points while Chloe Schaale added eight points as the B team improved to 6-1.
7th Grade A— Pennfield 19, Legg 17 (OT) Brooklyn Kerry had 16 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists while Eliza Douglas had seven rebounds.
7th Grade B— Legg 25, Pennfield 7 Legg had 47 rebounds in their first victory of the season
Meanwhile, in the Sturgis Christian League, St. Charles Borromeo Middle School defeated Bronson St. Mary’s 44-23 as St. Charles improved to 5-0. David Richards led St. Charles with 15 points while Luke Bailey had 10 points.
