COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Branch County man is being held on $100,000 bond following his arrest on a 3 count criminal sexual conduct warrant, after being accused of sexually assaulting a minor under the age of 13.
The 44-year old suspect from Sherwood Township was taken into custody yesterday at the Branch County Courthouse and then booked at the Branch County Jail.
The preliminary charges listed on the warrant were one count of first degree criminal sexual conduct and 2 counts of second degree CSC. The case was investigated by the Branch County Sheriff’s Department.
The suspect’s name is being withheld pending arraignment in Branch County District Court.
