BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – In anticipation of a eight to 12 inch snowfall, the City of Bronson has declared a Snow Emergency which will go into effect at 9:00 p.m. Thursday night and go through 12 noon Saturday.
City officials say during this period, the public is being requested to refrain from parking on any street so that the Department of Public Works Staff can safely remove snow.
If deemed necessary for safety, vehicles parked on the street during this period will be subjected to towing.
The Village of Quincy has also declared a Snow Emergency from Thursday at 9:00 p.m. 12 noon Saturday, residents are being asked to do not park on any street within the Village so that staff to clear the roads as quickly as possible.
Cars parked on the road during this period may be ticketed or towed.
With 8 to 12 inches of snow in the forecast, the village is asking people to refrain from traveling Thursday night and Friday if at all possible.
