COLDWATER, MI (WTVB)- In high school bowling, all three Coldwater squads defeated Jackson Lumen Christi Wednesday night.
The varsity boys won the two games regular series 1,957-1,366. In the baker games, Coldwater shot a 202 and a 185 for a 387 series to Lumen’s 144 and a 168 for a 312 series. High scorers for Coldwater were: Alec Keplinger with a 237 and a 260 for a 497 series, Dayten Yearling had a 233 and a 189 for a 422 series, Caleb Champion rolled a 205 and Kai Kinsey had a 198.
The boys record is now 8-2.
The varsity girls also won the two game regular series 1,759 to 1,021. In the baker games, Coldwater shot a 364 series to Lumens 184 series. High scorers for Coldwater were: Riley Cooper Lewis with a 196 and a 189 for a 385 series, Tiffanie Corwin with a 188 and a 168 for a 351 series, Addison Harvey with a 214 game, Alysia VanWormer had a 166 and a 164 for a 330 series, Noella Keplinger rolled a 160 and a 161 for a 321 series, Allison Caswell had a 158.
The girls record is also 8-2.
The J.V. girls have also moved their record to 8-2. Once again, they bowled unopposed. Their two game regular series was 1,402. In the baker games they shot a 170 and 191 for a 361 series. Sabrina VanAuker shot a 169, Bree Hamm shot a 160 and Hannah Furney shot a 147.
All of the Coldwater bowlers will travel to M66 Bowl in Pennfield Saturday to participate in the I-8 singles championship.
