COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Mother Nature is no friend of Branch County high school basketball. Friday night boys and girls varsity basketball games for Coldwater and Union City have been postponed because of the snow storm.
The Coldwater High School home games with Jackson Northwest have been rescheduled for Saturday, February 17. The girls game will start at 5:00 p.m. that evening with the boys game starting at 6:30 p.m..
Friday’s postponement will mean the Coldwater teams will have to play three games in five nights at the Coach Floyd Eby Gymnasium. They will host Pennfield Tuesday, Harper Creek next Friday, and Northwest next Saturday.
The Union City girls and boys doubleheader at Reading was postponed to Saturday night with the girls game starting at 5:30 p.m..
