QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – In boys high school basketball Thursday, Quincy kept their hopes of winning a Big 8 Conference title alive thanks to a 26-14 fourth quarter, in a 61-52 win over Bronson. Will Dunn scored a game-high 19 points for Quincy while Wyatt Heal and Brett Sikorski each scored 12 points for the Vikings.
The Orioles are now 8-1 in the conference and 10-4 overall while Bronson drops to 3-5 in the Big 8 and 8-5 overall.

Kiera Lasky led the Vikings with 22 points as Bronson improved to 7-2 in the Big 8 and 10-4 overall. Katie Rathbun had 13 points for Quincy while Allison Parshall had seven rebounds and Cailyn Cook had five assists.
The Orioles are now 4-6 in the conference and 8-6 overall.
Coldwater is scheduled to host Jackson Northwest Friday night during Hall of Fame Night, weather permitting. As of Friday morning, the girls/boys doubleheader was still on but that could change. If it’s played, we will have all of the action at 5:30pm on AM 1590 and FM 95.5 WTVB as well as on line at www.wtvbam.com.

Leading scorers for Coldwater were Jaxon Janusz with 12 points and Noah Waterbury with nine points.
Freshman Boys…Coldwater 60, Jackson Northwest 49
The Cardinal freshman are now 6-7. Leading scorers for the Cardinals were Deandre Douglas with 26 and Kolby Wagner with 14 points and six steals.
JV Girls…Jackson Northwest 45, Coldwater 27
Autumn Sunderland led Coldwater with 19 points which included four triples. Bailey Burkhardt had seven rebounds.
