COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Floyd Eby Gymnasium at Coldwater High School will be quite busy over the next couple of nights. Thanks to last Friday’s snow storm which wiped an entire slate of games, the Coldwater Cardinal basketball teams will have to play back to back varsity doubleheaders this weekend.
Harper Creek will provide the opposition this evening on Senior Night for the girls team. Both Coldwater teams defeated the Beavers at Harper Creek on January 22 with the boys winning 53-38 while the girls scored a 45-27 victory.
The Coldwater boys are 12-3 overall and 8-2 in the Interstate 8 while the girls are 15-1 overall and 9-1 in the conference. Coverage on AM1590 and FM 95.5 WTVB and on line at www.wtvbam.com starts at 5:30 p.m.
All of the underclassmen games between Harper Creek and Coldwater were cancelled Thursday night because of the dense fog.
