COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Commission on Aging has begun soliciting bids for a lunch service vendor at the Burnside Senior Center.
According to an ad published in Wednesday’s Shoppers Guide, a pre-bid meeting will be held at the Burnside Center February 28, 2018
Bids are due by the end of business March 7, 2018.
Attendance at the pre-bid meeting will be necessary for vendors who wish to submit a bid.
Branch County Commission on Aging Executive Director Amy Duff recently told the Branch County Board of Commissioners that patrons at the center have expressed a great interest in lunch service during a pair of forums.
In line with that, Commissioners approved a request from Duff which increased the weekly hours of the bookkeeper for this year from 35 to 40 so that research and development can be conducted into the potential lunch program.
