COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch Intermediate School District Board of Trustees will spend the next two days interviewing the four superintendent finalists during a pair of special meetings.
Kalkaska Schools Superintendent Karen Sherwood and Gogebic-Ontonagon Intermediate School District Assistant Superintendent Nick Steinmetz are scheduled to be interviewed Monday, while Union City Superintendent Patrick Kreger along with Calhoun County Intermediate School District Assistant Superintendent Kristine Jenkins are scheduled to be interviewed Tuesday.
The interviews are open to the public and the meetings will start at 4:00 p.m. each day.
A second round of interviews will take place the following week.
The Michigan Leadership Institute is assisting the BISD board during the superintendent search.
Whoever is selected will take over for Joe Lopez, who is retiring July 31, 2018.
