COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – At last report from the Branch County Road Commission, there are still about a dozen road closings around Branch County due to high water.
Here are the closings as posted Sunday on the Road Commission’s Facebook page…
Fisher Road (Stringtown to Hillsdale County)
Willowbrook (Tanner Run to Dorrance)
Kelly Road (Brown to Lester)
Central Road (Smith to Behnke).
Wildwood Road at the intersection on the east side of Ray-Quincy.
Slisher (Snow Prairie-Bowers)
Clearwater (Cranson – Nettlemen)
Sebring (Briggs – Ray Quincy)
Wolf (Phillips – Potter)
Oliverda (Arney-Blossom)
Lindsey (Jonesville – Bidwell)
Blossom (Oliverda – Athens)
Even though rivers have crested and flood waters are expected to recede over the next several days, drivers are still being urged to be alert for high water. Do not drive into high water areas, you could do permanent damage to your vehicle.
