COLDWATER. MI (WTVB) – For the second straight day, there was a brief power outage in the city of Coldwater Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Coldwater Board of Public Utiltiies, during the testing and commissioning of new electrical equipment at the CBPU Bennett Street substation, a fault occurred causing a brief power outage to a section of the City of Coldwater shortly before 3:00 p.m. All circuits were restored within a twenty minute timeframe and no further outages are expected.
According to a press release from the City of Coldwater, “The CBPU takes all utility related outages very seriously and the safety of employees is our number one priority. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank everyone for their patience.”
