COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The City of Coldwater has announced that as the flood waters recede in the Pilot Knob subdivision on the city’s west side, there will be a dumpster placed for residents to dispose of household items and building materials.
City Manager Keith Baker told the Coldwater City Council Monday night it will be first located at the basketball court. They will then move it closer to the residences impacted by the high water.
Residents can also visit the Community Health Agency website for more information at https://www.bhsj.org/.
For any questions regarding flood or rebuilding issues, residents are asked to contact the Coldwater Neighborhood Services department at (517)279-6929.
A number of homes were damaged by the flood which took place after almost five inches of rain fell. The rain came after nearly a foot of snow from the February 9t storm rapidly melted.
