COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Sheriff’s recently held a pair of seminars at the on church security.
Sheriff John Pollack said this department contacted by a number of churches who were interested in security issues, especially in light of recent mass shootings.
One of the worst mass killings in recent years took place last November at a church in Sutherland Springs, Texas where 26 people were killed as they were worshiping.
Pollack said the information would then be taken back by church officials to their congregations to make decisions on how much security should be put in place.
