QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Quincy High School sophomore Will Dunn has been named the Big 8 Conference Boys Basketball Most Valuable Player for the 2017-2018 season. Dunn along with teammates Bryce Ruhl and Caleb McCavit, Bronson’s Ethan Cossairt and Union City’s Larson Kever made the All Conference Boys Basketball Team.
Honorable Mention honors were earned by Bronson’s Wyatt Heal and Brendan Bell, Quincy’s Drew Deaton and Union City’s Grady Kever.
Bronson’s Kiera Lasky is the only Branch County member of the Big 8 Conference Girls Basketball Team. Honorable mentions were earned by Kiana Mayer, Payton Robinson and Keona Salesman from Bronson; Payton Hines and Katie Rathbun of Quincy and Autumn Carpenter of Union City.
Alana Nelson of Springport was named the Girls Basketball Most Valuable Player.
