COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Coldwater woman was ordered to serve 18 months probation Monday in Branch County Circuit Court after she scuffled with police officers during a drug bust at a local motel in December.
33-year-old Nichole Combs entered guilty pleas to charges of attempted resisting and obstructing and being in possession of a non-narcotic controlled substance.
She was given a total jail sentence of six months with 86 days credited for time already served.
In exchange for the guilty pleas, Prosecutors dismissed two counts of resisting and obstructing and a methamphetamine possession charge.
Combs was arrested at the Coldwater Inn and Suites on Orleans Boulevard as police tried to take her into custody December 9, 2017.
