QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy Board of Education approved a series of one year contract extensions for a number of administrators Monday night. Among those getting a contract extension were Middle School Principal Josh Haggerty, Elementary Principal Ron Olmsted, High School and Middle School Assistant Principal/Athletic Director Sherri Hildenbrand and Technology Director Andrew Craig.
The board also approved a contract renewal with Chartwell Food Service as required by the Michigan Department of Education. This will be the fifth year of a five year contract which is renewed annually.
In other business, the board approved policy changes to provide for the inclusion of the Clay Pigeon Shooting and Equestrian teams, and the sinking fund renewal resolution for 1.5 mills for five years was approved for the August 7, 2018 primary ballot.
