CONVIS TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A former Coldwater man was killed Sunday morning in a crash that happened in Convis Township, in the northeast portion of Calhoun County.
The fatal victim has been identified as 38-year-old Joshua M. Dillon of Albion.
Calhoun County Deputies say it appears Dillon failed to follow one of the curves on 14-Mile Road between P Drive North and Gorsline Road.
His vehicle then went off the road and crashed into a tree at about 4:30 a.m..
Dillon was pronounced dead at the scene.
Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department investigators believe that speed and alcohol were contributing factors.
