COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Over 1,100 Consumers Energy customers to the south and west of Coldwater lost electric power late Monday morning. The reason for the outage was not immediately known.
The power outage covered an area from North Barnhart Road south to Central Road, and from just east of Snow Prairie Road to west of Fiske Road.
The outage was reported at about 11:30 a.m..
Most Consumers Energy customers got their power back at about 1:40 p.m. The remainder had their power restored shortly before 3:00 p.m.
The outage did not affect Coldwater Board of Public Utilities customers.
