COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – April is designated as Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The theme of this year’s 17th anniversary is “Embrace Your Voice”.
The goal is to let people know that their words can promote safety, respect, and equality to stop sexual violence before it happens.
If you are a victim of sexual assault, Branch County Sexual Assault Services in the Emergency Department at ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital can help you. Specially trained forensic nurses are available 24 hours a day. They will discuss legal options and provide you with the care you deserve.
Most exams are free of charge to victims.
