COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The cases involving a pair of Hillsdale County men who were arrested following a St. Patrick’s weekend fight have been bound over to Branch County Circuit Court
22-year old Tyler Lovell of Pittsford and 21-year old Kyle Macey of Jonesville both waived their Branch County District Court preliminary exams.
Lovell is charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, resisting arrest and being in possession of marijuana.
Macey is facing charges of aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
They were arrested by Coldwater Police following a brawl on Walnut Street which sent two persons to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital with serious injuries.
The two who were treated at the hospital reportedly got injured when they came to the aid of a woman who was allegedly pushed to the ground by one of the suspects.
