COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Michigan State Police say a pickup truck driver was injured Thursday afternoon in a collision with a semi-tractor trailer on I-69 in Branch County’s Ovid Township.
The crash that was reported at 4:20 pm yesterday occurred in the southbound lanes of the highway near Pearl Road. According to the preliminary accident report, the semi had slowed down and the pickup truck struck the rear of the trailer with the pickup ending up in the median.
Troopers said the pickup driver was treated by Life Care Ambulance medics for minor injuries. The semi driver wasn’t hurt. No names were released.
State Police were on scene of the collision until almost 6:00 p.m.
