COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Board of Public Utilities issued a statement Friday after they got several complaints about what they called a very aggressive door-to-door salesman.
The CBPU said in its statement that they want to assure their customers and the citizens of Coldwater that the utility has not sold its telecommunications system and there are no plans to go out of business.
The statement say the salesman told some people that the CBPU is no longer going to be able to provide them with internet or television services.
The statement went on to say the CBPU will continue to provide competitive services, employ local people and respond to their customer needs. CBPU is in the process of transitioning its current cable television service to the all digital Skitter TV platform.
If you have any questions, you can visit the CBPU at the City Municipal Building or call (517)279-9531.
