COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater Fire Marshal Paul Dove has submitted his resignation after taking a position with the State of Michigan’s Fire Marshal’s Office.
Coldwater City Manager Keith Baker says in his report for Monday’s City Council meeting that Dove’s last day with the Coldwater Fire Department will be April 19, 2018.
Dove has served as the Coldwater Fire Marshal for over 24 years.
He formerly worked in Palm Beach County, Florida and is the past president of the Michigan Fire Inspector’s Society.
Dove holds and maintains eighteen national and multi-state professional certifications.
Baker says Dove and his wife Lisa will continue to reside in the community.
