COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Quincy man was given a total sentence of up to six years in the Michigan Department of Corrections on Monday in Branch County Circuit Court following a pair of confrontations with law enforcement members.
25-year-old Kevin Nall was sentenced after entering guilty pleas to three counts of assaulting, resisting or obstructing a police officer.
His sentence on two of the charges was 29 to 48 months with charges of disarming a police officer non-firearm and domestic violence dismissed in exchange for his guilty pleas. In the other case, Nall was given a consecutive sentence of 16 to 24 months with credit for 284 days after his fight with two Branch County corrections officers in June 2017.
