COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The newest member of the Coldwater Police Department was introduced during Monday’s Coldwater City Council meeting. Director of Police and Fire Services Mark Bartell says Nicholas Sanderson is a Centreville High School graduate.
He earned a B.A. degree in criminal justice at Columbia College in Missouri. He then attended the Kalamazoo Valley Community College law enforcement center police academy where he graduated with a basic police training certificate.
Sanderson currently lives in Sturgis with his wife and two children. He was sworn in March 26 and is presently taking part in a field officer training program.
This is Sanderson’s first full time police job.
