FREMONT, IN (WTVB) – The attorney representing former Fremont, Indiana track and cross country coach Moses Castillo in a Steuben County child seduction case is seeking a change of venue.
The 1994 Coldwater High School graduate was charged with five counts last month in connection with an alleged inappropriate sexual relationship starting in 2015 with a former Fremont High School athlete.
A hearing on the change of venue request was originally scheduled for Monday but it had to be moved to May 14th since the prosecution has not had enough time to respond to the request from the defense.
Castillo is free after posting ten percent of a $10,000 bond.
A no contact order has been issued on behalf of the alleged victim in the case.
