COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater Board of Public Utilities Director Jeff Budd told the CBPU Board of Directors Tuesday that electrical work has begun in earnest at the Chandler parking lot and the new electrical lines are being run in advance of the parking lot rehabilitation.
Budd says this will require new installation of electrical services with meters placed on the outside of the buildings. He added as much make ready work is being done now before the major construction of the parking lot starts.
Meanwhile, Budd says the lights for the Heritage Park soccer fields are being repurposed. He says they are being moved to light the open field behind the sand volleyball courts and to the west of the sled hill for future recreational use.
The soccer fields will be the future site of the Recreation Department’s diamonds for little league baseball and softball.
