COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Sherwood man was arrested Wednesday on a cocaine charge and arraigned in Branch County District Court in connection with a Michigan State Police investigation.
29-year old Brandon Lafler was charged with cocaine possession less than 25 grams and also faces a parole violation. A corrections officer at the jail said the warrant for Lafler’s arrest was signed last Thursday, and also indicated the warrant listed the initial date of the MSP case with Lafler as January 9, 2018.
Michigan State Police did not issue a news release regarding Lafler’s arrest.
At last word, he remains jailed on a $50,000 bond. Lafler is due back in Brach County District Court for a probable cause hearing April 24, 2018.
