COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Quincy resident has entered into a plea agreement following a physical confrontation earlier this month with a Michigan State Police Trooper.
18-year-old Ezra Aaron Brown entered a no contest plea on Thursday to attempted assault, resisting and obstruction of a police officer during his Branch County District Court preliminary examination.
Sentencing in District Court has been scheduled for May 21, 2018.
According to court documents, Brown got into a confrontation with Trooper Cody King while he was being placed under arrest in a stolen car investigation.
