COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch County Commission on Aging Executive Director Amy Duff had some bad news for the county’s Board of Commissioners Wednesday about the ongoing heating and cooling issues at the Burnside Senior Center.
It was recently reported by Duff that a solution may have been found after the contractor determined there was a software problem in the HVAC computer system. But when the contractor tried to use the new software file, it did not work.
Duff said she will meet with County Administrator Bud Norman, Commission Chair Ted Gordon and the county’s legal department to figure out what the next step will be.
Duff recently said that the biggest issue centered around the transducers which converts energy from one form to another.
The heating and cooling issues have taken place following last year’s renovation project.
Carrier Corporation manufactured the HVAC units, while CARMI Design Group of Edwardsburg, Michigan provided architectural and construction management services for the project.
