COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – One of the more dangerous intersections in Branch County was the scene of an accident Friday morning that sent two Coldwater residents to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital for treatment.
The Branch County Sheriff’s Department says the accident at Central and Centennial Roads happened just before 10:00 a.m. when 64-year-old Judith McCurley apparently failed to stop at the stop sign and collided with a vehicle driven by 19-year-old Zachary Uetrecht which was pulling a trailer.
Both vehicles wound up off the road.
The accident remains under investigation. Deputies were assisted by Lakeland firefighters and Lifecare Ambulance.
