QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Besides the U.S. 12 project between Coldwater and Bronson that is scheduled to start on Monday, the Michigan Department of Transportation resurfacing project on U.S. 12 between Quincy and Jonesville is scheduled to start Wednesday.
Crews will spend the next month resurfacing 11 miles as part of a $2 million project.
The project is scheduled to wrap up by Memorial Day weekend.
MDOT says work will start with sidewalk ramp improvements followed by milling and resurfacing which will begin next Thursday.
The sidewalk ramp upgrades will bring them up with the standards in the Americans with Disabilities Act
Drivers should expect single-lane closures during the project.
