MENDON, MI (WTVB) – A house in St. Joseph County’s Mendon Township was destroyed in a fire early Wednesday morning.
The blaze in the 53000 block of Silver Street about a mile south of Portage Lake was reported at about 3:45 a.m..
It was not immediately known if there was anyone inside of the house.
WWMT-TV reports multiple fire departments responded but the home was engulfed in flames when crews arrived.
