QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – A Quincy man has been charged in Branch County with multiple counts of obstructing police. 30-year old Thomas Stump was arraigned yesterday in District Court after being arrested by Quincy Village Police at his home Sunday afternoon.
The charges include destroying evidence, witness dissuading, and making a false police report. According to police, Stump was taken into custody after he was found hiding under a bed at his residence on West Chicago Street in Quincy.
Bond for Stump was set at $15,000 with a probable cause hearing scheduled for May 8, 2018.
