COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning which in effect from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday due to a combination of warm temperatures, strong winds and low relative humidity.
Highs are expected to get into the low 80s.
The winds are expected to come out of the southwest at 15 to 25 miles an hour with gusts up to 30 miles an hour while the humidity with only be 20 to 30 percent.
Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly so outdoor burning is not recommended.
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now or will shortly.
