COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Wednesday night severe storm forced Branch County Road Commission crews to work into the wee hours of the morning Thursday, as numerous fallen trees had to be removed from the roads.
Road Commission Manager Trent Arver says crews worked until 4:00 a.m. Thursday morning.
Another crew resumed working on tree removal two hours later.
Arver says about 20 trees had to be removed.
The heavy rain led to a washout, which has forced Larabee Road between Rose and Central Roads in Bethel Township to be shut down until further notice.
