QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – A special meeting Monday night that was originally scheduled to fill a vacancy on the Quincy Community School Board of Education will now include the board taking action on a proposed contract for a new Superintendent of the District.
The board voted 6-0 on April 19th to select Mendon Middle/High School Principal Marc Kramer to be the district’s next superintendent.
Kramer is scheduled to start his new job July 1, 2018.
Monday’s meeting will start at 6:00 p.m..
The board vacancy needs to be filled after the death last month of Tom Bean who had served on the board for over 10 years.
He had also been Business Manager for the Calhoun Intermediate School District, and previously held that role with the Union City and Quincy Community Schools.
