HASTINGS, MI (WTVB) – In boys high school golf, Coldwater finished fifth with a score of 180 in the last Interstate 8 Conference Jamboree of the season at the Legacy Golf Course in Hastings Wednesday.
Coldwater was led by Alec Keplinger and Noah Waterbury who each shot 41’s. Kyle Herman, Grey Skudlarick and Tanner Jent each had 49’s. Sam Westgate rounded out Coldwater’s scoring with a 59.
Meanwhile, Quincy finished second behind Jonesville in Wednesday’s Big 8 Conference Jamboree hosted by Concord at Concord Hills. Jonesville had a score of 181 followed by the Orioles at 185 and Concord at 186. Union City was fifth and Bronson was sixth. Quincy still has the lead in the team standings with a conference record of 34-2. Lawson Tell led the Orioles with a 42, Brandon Hyska carded a 43 for Bronson and Hayden Creger had a 42 for Union City.
